The Lounge

Not knowing when I would be back to Osaka, I made an attempt to see a few lounges in the airport. The Asuka is the one for Cathay's flights, and I spent an hour in this lounge before my flight.

Dining

A decent amount of food in catering area, and real alcohol. So quite acceptable to dine and gorge while awaiting boarding time.
Lots and lots and lots of seating And not very busy And more seating! I didn't see more than 10 people in here the entire time Quite workable alcohol offerings Regular cold foods Man, what is it with rice balls? Nice meal options, spicy flavorful food Hearty stew (probably has a Japanese name though)

Summary

Not a "omg first class awesomeness lounge" but this was a pretty darn decent lounge for a third party operator. I liked it, and its proximity to the gate makes it the go-to one in the International side of the Osaka Kansai Airport to me.
