The Lounge

Well, I was going to Siem Reap Cambodia, and my main airlines do not go there from Kuala Lumpur, so I was relegated to Air Asia for this trip. That then precluded any airline associated lounges for free access.

But, I have Priority Pass now so, there were a few options available to me in the third party sector. I elected to try the Travel Club Lounge in Kuala Lumpur International, Terminal 2. Seems I made a pretty good choice.

Dining

Buffet, with a live kitchen for custom orders of the day. The seating is adequate, but a little underwhelming. Many people spent their entire time in here at these seats.
This what the least crowded seating area, there are two more but super busy "Massage at an enhanced cost Get your quick drinks here. If one brings their own mixers, this is where to start Dining seating area, cafeteria reminiscent Live Kitchen, for bespoke noodles and such they serve at times Various Malaysian dishes Salads for the health minded More hot Malay food, which is pretty tasty The bar, firmly mid-shelf offerings, with warnings to Muslims not to drink

Summary

Functional, decent bar, good food. The seating is somewhat less than ideal. Attached to a short-term hotel, so showers are available. There are multitudes of food options in terminal 2 if you're not feeling it, but it is much quieter than out in the general populace, and more private.
