Seragoon Tribute, Singapore
I was spending some actual quality time in Singapore for the first time in like... forever? And I wanted obviously new hotels to experience. I hunted around, and I found a Tribute Collection, the Seragoon House in an area I have never been to before. The price was also quite right, so I jumped on it.Arrival
I took a taxi from the airport. As I got close to the hotel, I noticed it was like going into a very Indian style of town. I was informed indeed, I was now in Little India, which is where tons of expat Indian workers live while employed in Singapore.It was close to two subway stations but I just was carrying too much crap for that this trip. Dropped off at the hotel, I moved myself around from the parking lot to the entrance, and got checked in with an upgrade to a larger room (yes, that's a relative term here, you will see).
The Room
Top floor, corner family room, as the place is designed to accommodate families in transit I think. This was my upgrade, but compared to what was in the hotel, it was significant.

Dining and Drinking
The dining and bar are in the basement. It's nicely decorated and the food is quite top notch in flavor.Various Shots

And they do serve. Very imaginative use of space to give the elite experience

Summary
A small, boutique Tribute collection that seems somehow to do absolutely everything right. The Exec Hour, the dining, the bar, the breakfast, they make it all work, and quite well.Yes, the rooms are very unusual and a bit small, but still, they really are spot on for the rest of the service. Rob is hard to impress. They impressed me.
