Doubletree, Ealing England
As one may notice, I bounce around hotels a lot in London, sometimes to be able to stay at one I really want to, sometimes to save money because OMG they can be CRAZY pricey.Arrival
I took the tube to Ealing Broadway and then dragged my bags the couple blocks to the hotel. The sidewalks could use some work. But, once I was there? It was fine.The Room
I arrived dead on time for check-in. The only real upgrade I could get was from a queen to a king room. It's not the most suite filled property I have stayed at and those seemed either taken or "off the upgrade books".

Dining
w5 is the dining and the bar. I didn't get much time here as I had to run to an engagement. It's a fairly regular hotel experience for a full service property. Bar, buffet for breakfast, dinner specials. Competent and even a little special, but obviously not 3 forks dining.Amenities
Well, there is a gym that is very nice clean and modern, there is also a pool, but it was full of kids, and it's just not a good idea to take pictures with it in that state.

Summary
While the google search says this is a luxury property, it's actually just a very nice normal property. It is not low end, but a proper hotel with the amenities a proper hotel should have.No lounges, the junior Suite looks bigger, I might suggest springing for that - as the normal room is going to be tight for 2 people (but was just fine for me).
