The Lounge

I frequent London a lot and I try to fly first class on American each time using the miles I have earned over the year. This lounge is recently re-opened, and it used to be the Flagship Lounge (same thing, different name). Located in the same area as all the lounges, it's easy to pop into if one has the correct ticket or status.

A good amount of seating for those not dining formally. Very subdued atmosphere.

Dining Area

Formal sit down area with menu service. I had just come from the Cathay lounge and had already eaten, but here is the offering of the day.

Snacks

Summary

A first class lounge more as a result of excluding other flyers than level of service, the food is pretty decent. Seating is somewhat comfortable, very similar to Admirals Clubs. The drinks are though I felt really lacking in a "first class" experience.
