The Lounge
Upon leaving Singapore on Cathay through the years, with its not so convenient location in terminal 4, and the only OneWorld lounge in the terminal, I end up going to the First/Business lounge pre-flight to have a comfortable seat and some food.Given that it is a combined lounge, I wasn't expecting it to be too fancy. But it is in Singapore, so I should have known better. It had a very well-appointed dining area and large seating area above the entire terminal. It also had better alcohol for mixers than the First Class lounges in Hong Kong
Dining Area
The dining area has a lunch counter type facility with sushi, noodles and burgers. The chefs are in plain sight, taking your order and crafting your meal.Snacks
There is a buffet/snack area that carries sodas, food of many kinds, treats, and tea. It's for people who don't have time to sit down and order a meal. The food is good, just lacks the presentation value of the dining area.

Tons of seats, this almost got half full at the busiest time
All kinds of food, I just wasn't in the mood at 11:30 at night as red eye flights are very popular to Hong Kong from here

Years later, not much has changed, but at least my Goose is there for my drink
Sodas and mix-ins, plus some beer which I generally ignore and Moet champagne for those that partake
Snacks, light fare
And where Rob usually picks something of high sugar content to go with his drink. Yes, my liver hates me.
