The Lounge

Not knowing where I was going in Terminal 1 (it's been 6 years since my last time in that one), I went to the Qantas Business Lounge and they directed me to the First Class lounge a good distance away.

Having visited 2 of the 4 Qantas First lounges previously, and with this one having just recently opened, it was a bonus to be able to utilize and one I eagerly took advantage of.

Dining Area

70% of the lounge is the dining area. I've now been here twice and you never feel crowded in.

The majority of this lounge is really a dining setting. The wine food and drinks do not stop

Baramundi, it was a medium flavored fish but overall it was good

General Area

Work area, in the end I was the only one using it because everyone else was there for leisure

Shower Facilities

Super nice shower facilities with the artificial sky in place. Lots of room and a place for your luggage while you shower.

Only available in Qantas first... that's pretty amazing

Summary

Qantas as always has the finest lounges I have seen, and this one is no exception. Their first class offering is so over the top that I don't know if I could emotionally accept a time when I wouldn't have access to them anymore and have to downgrade to just "normal level" luxury.
